Hi,

We use chip LPC5526JBD64E to get the status of hard drives from the host via SGPIO.

I was wondering whether the chip supports the SGPIO function?
If the answer is yes, how to enable it?

BR,

carter

Hi Cater

Here are some  application notes on how to use SGPIO on LPC4300. If source codes exist, they are included in the zip files:

SGPIO on the LPC4300:
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN11275.zip

Using SGPIO to emulate an SPI master interface:
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN11210.zip

LPC4300 camera interface design using SGPIO:
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN11196.zip

SGPIO camera module design using LPC4300:
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN11343.zip

Implementing a UART using SGPIO on LPC4300:
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN11351.zip

Hope this helps.

Hi Carter

Please read this application note. this is

https://www.nxp.com.cn/docs/en/application-note/AN12326.pdf

but we don't have qualification of SFF-8485 Specification.

Have a nice day,

Hi Jun,

Thanks for your information.

However, I am looking forward to Serial General Purpose Input Output(SGPIO), not secure gpio.

Hi Cater.

No. LPC55 doesn't support Serial General Purpose Input Output(SGPIO).

our LPC43xx supports Serial GPIO, but LPC55 doesn't.

Hope this helps,

Hi Jun,

Got it.

I was wondering if you could share the source code of SGPIO with us?

Hi Jun,

I tried to simulate SGPIO slave device via sensing gpio signals by software.

However, it seems impossible.

Am I right?
