I'm using keil MDK to develop and I can debug with it and use the UART0 on the xpresso V2 board for the LPC11U68 - but only after I first run a debug session in LPCxpresso for this target and connect to it. Then, provided I keep the board powered and plugged into the link, I can stop LPCxpresso and start Keil with the CMSIS DAP selected as debugger and off I go. But Keil can't find the debugger from a power up of the board directly - and neither the debugger or the com port appear as devices to the (windows) computer that I'm running on.
Is there a way to cause the init of the debugger and serial port without using LPCxpresso to boot it?
I've also pinged ARM because this sounds like a driver issue in part (which is not the MCUXpresso fix if anyone is following that thread - it doesn't help).
Hello,
How about this case now, yes, I think you can find help from KEIL support.
