I am having difficulty getting the build of SDK 2.0 to boot on the LS1043ARDB, it freezes/hangs at Starting kernel...
I had SDK 0.5 and Kernel 3.19 working on the same board and even tried using the DTB file from that with the new SDK. That gets quite a bit further, it boots to a login prompt but the Ethernet port does not come up. Looking back at the boot messages, the following problems occur during boot:

I am wondering if the 2.0 SDK was tested on the board?
Thanks, Stacy

Hello stacym,
SDK 2.0 has already been tested on LS1043ARDB, please download the pre_built image ISO QorIQ-SDK-V2.0-AARCH64-IMAGE-20160527-yocto.iso from Linux® SDK for QorIQ ® Processors|NXP , and try to use these images on LS1043ARDB.
Please also update u-boot image to bank 4 at bank 0 as the following,
=>tftp 82000000 <u-boot_file_name>.bin
=>protect off 64100000 +$filesize
=>erase 64100000 +$filesize
=>cp.b 82000000 64100000 $filesize
=>protect on 64100000 +$filesize
=>cpld reset altbank
In addition, please use FIT image(kernel.itb) directly, which includes Linux Kernel, dts and rootfs filesystem.
Please refer to the following procedure.
=>setenv bootargs ‘root=/dev/ram0 earlycon=uart8250,mmio,0x21c0500 console=ttyS0,115200’
=>saveenv
=>tftp a0000000 < FIT_image_name>
=>bootm a0000000
If your problem remains, would you please provide the whole u-boot and Linux Kernel booting up log?
Thanks,
Yiping
