Hi.

I need to make a production, and I currently use a KW41Z. Of course, it's near impossible to find any stock, and the lead time is now 52 weeks.

I only use the SMAC 802.15.4 stack, so it seems I can use the KW21Z as a drop in replacement. Can you confirm that it is a direct replacement?

Should I change the init vector (or other stuff?), and is the SMAC stack still compatible (I just modified it a bit to not use the common library and call directly my freertos routine, but the core of the library has not changed)

Regards,

Matthieu

Hi Matthieu,

Hope you are doing well. Yes, you can use the KW21Z if you are interested in 802.15.4.

Just be sure to buy the same Package, Flash and SRAM version.
