DP83849I PHY Link unstability on Freescale K70

Hi

I am using DP83849I PHY for TWR-K70F120M Platform on TWR-SER2 board.

When Freescale application (eth_to_serial) goes up, and i try to ping the IP Address, I observe a "request times out." message after random time repeatedly. This message appears after random pings requests.

Is this a normal behavior?

I have googled and found that "National Semiconductor DP83849I Ethernet PHY deprecated because of large link loss reaction time and delay".

Is it right? If no, what would be possible cause of link loss?

Hi,

Seems you are running the MQX demo, what is the verion of MQX? how about the PC Host? Is it a Win XP or WIN7/8? or something else like that? I am trying to reproduce this issue here. Thanks for your patience!!
