Hi Michele,

There is free USB Stack Software for the MCF5222x family of ColdFire Microcontrollers with USB 2.0 Host/Device/OnTheGo interface.  This software was written by CMX Systems, is provided in source code that can be built with CodeWarrior for ColdFire v6.4.  It is called the CMX_USB-Lite stack, and can be downloaded from the Freescale website:

There are other choices for operating system software that will run on the MCF5222x, including a new port of uTasker (www.uTasker.com).

    Thanks,

Hi,

Check out CodeSourcery for the GNU tools:  http://www.codesourcery.com/gnu_toolchains/coldfire

I believe uTasker now supports the MCF52223 family of MCUs with integrated USB 2.0 in addition to the MCF5223x MCUs with integrated 10/100 BaseT Etherenet.

   Thanks,
