Greetings,

Sometimes CW crashes and complains about "Runtime Error 216".  It seems to happen randomly, but once it does happen it seems to happen more often... sometimes  several times a day.  Sometimes a reboot will improve the stability, but not always.  I have attached three .dump files that seem to have been produced at the last crash.

Anyone have any comments or solutions?

I am running CW for Coldfire v6.4 Build 6 and my target is the CF 5272.

After paying more attention to this problem, I have determined that the error occurs after I hit the 'Run' button on Codewarrior then switch immediately to a browser - IE or Firefox.

It's not a virus, but some other weird Windows problem I guess.

According to Microsoft, when you get that error your computer might be infected with a virus. Read the details here. I hope I'm wrong about this...
