Sharing CWS4.5 (for HCS12X) with 2 dongles for 3 users

Hi

We plan to upgrade our 2 existing CodeWarrior licenses (v3.1 for HC12S) to the newest version (4.5 for HCS12S).
So far we worked with licenses tied to the hardware-ID but now we plan to buy USB dongles in order that more than 2 people may share those two licenses. Will it work like that, e.g. that those 2 dongles are used on 3 different PCs (in different combinations) or is it like that one PC works only with a dedicated dongle (which may be shared for different PCs)? Or in different words: does it matter which dongle is attached to the PC or is it possible to have a "pool" of dongles for different PCs?

I think you can share the dongles around, but check this forum thread. E-mail licensing@freescale.com for a definitive answer.

licensing@metrowerks.com seems not to be transferred to @freescale.com (not in the list)

Emails to license@freescale.com are received for sure.

The other option is always to create a Service Request
