Get Started with MC56F83000EVK

Hi guys,

I've bought a evaluation board MC56F8300EVK to program its DSC, a PC56F83789. I downloaded CW 11.1, intalled PE drivers and could recognize USB CDC adaptor enabled by OSBDM - JM60. I also configured software DSC56800EX_Quick_Start_r2.7 and imported a example from its folders. I have used to the document https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/user-guide/DSC56800EXQSUG.pdf to get started with the board.

My problem is, after a successful build, I try to run my project and get this error: Error creating session: Invalid target type selection in connection "56F83789_Build_FLASH_SDM_LPM_OSJTAG"

I've updated the firmware on JM60, but anything I've done, didn't work.

Can anyone help me, please? Is any software missing?

Hi, Lucas,

I have tried to download code with MC56F83000-EVK, it works fine.

I attach the screenshot of software configuration and board configuration.

I attach the board picture.

BTW, before you download code, you have to pass the compilation and linking stage and  generate the *.elf file which is downloaded to chip.

I missed to full update CW to use with DSC. I downloaded the example again and it works.
