Hi Pele,

I suggest our low cost hardware starter kit, PK-HC08QY4 to you. The PK-HC08QY4 Starter Kit has been designed for the evaluation of the MC68HC908QY4 microcontroller and the debugging of small user applications. For more detailed information, please visit our website, www.softecmicro.com.

Thanks. :smileyhappy:

To continue the list
you may look at http://www.systech-gmbh.ch/indexHCS08System.html for the hardware and http://www.systech-gmbh.ch/indexEBS08.html for a simple OS for the CW 5.x

Yeah, that will work too!
Buy a Multilink either direct from P&E or from this site and you can use it with either free software from thei site www.pemicro.com or CW from this site.

pele:

The HC08 has many low-cost development tools available. A good place to get started is with P&E's Free Simulator/Assembler (available for a select array of MCUs), or with Codewarriors starter edition (which also has a free version, along with P&E's Full Chip Simulation integrated into the software). P&E's software can be found here:

P&E's Free ICS Software

P&E also offers low-cost development tools for all Freescale MCU's. More information can be found on our homepage.
