MIDI tone generation

Hi, I've previously posted a thread at

regarding pwm tonegeneration.

Now, I'd like like to find out how to 1 come about generating a midi or chime tone using the similiar method?

How do i implement my sintab for this application?

Hi,

I am about to publish an english book about the HCS08 family of microcontrollers. The book presents two examples that may be useful for you: a sound generation function (using TPM compare) and a RTTTL player (to play cellphone ringtones).
