when I use CW to assemble code (assembler code only) using the 'Make' or 'Debug'
buttons, when complete it shows the message 'project all up to date' at the top of
the source code window & hides the source code.
This is a bother, since I then have to click on the .asm file name
to make the source code reappear.
Is there some way to keep the source code visible?
Hello
- Which version of CodeWarrior are you using?
To retrieve that info:
- Start CodeWarrior
- Select Help -> About Freescale CodeWarrior
- Click on "Install Products"
- CodeWarrior version used is displayed on top in the Installed Products dialog.
CrasyCat
version is IDE 5.9.0 build 2404
The message appears in a window which overlays the code window, hence you have to click on the source code filename or Ctrl-Tab back to that screen.
Hello
This does not help to identify the product you are using.
As stated in my last message, to retrieve that info:
- Start CodeWarrior
- Select Help -> About Freestyle CodeWarrior
- Click on "Install Products"
- CodeWarrior version used is displayed on top in the Installed Products dialog.
Did you maximize the source window inside of CodeWarrior?
Is the issue reproducible if you restore source window to its original size?
CrasyCat
CW dev studiov6.1 build 7285 -20 oct 07
JM60 service pack build 071128
I have maximised the code window . (And why is it not max'ed on startup!?)
I think this window action is normal, but it is annoying since after a build you have to Cntl-Tab back to the code window. (even though the result window only takes up the top part of the screen)
-If I install a newer version of CW do I have to reinstall the JM60 service pack?
Hello
Maximizing the code window will maximize all the windows opened in CodeWarrior.
I would recommend you to remove the maximized and just change size of the window and make it bigger.
