hi,
1.connected the j-link to customized board which has IMXRT1052DVL6B chip set on it.
2. using j-flash IDE trying to connect the hardware.
i am getting the following error:
can anyone please help on this.
thanks,
Maniram
I've encountered the same problem with my MK60DN512VLL10 MCU.
I've attempted to connect with J-Command and attempted to connect and erase my target but I receive the same error returned:
This is my specific MCU:
Any suggestions on how to regain control of my target?
Terry
Hi Terry Biberdorf,
Please create your own question post, then we will help you to check your question in details.
You need to check your smallest system, your solder temperature.
Please create your question in the kinetis community:
Thanks a lot for your understanding.

Hi maniram nagothi ,
Please use the JLINK commander to connect your board with SWD interface and the JLINK debugger again.
Can you find the ARM cortex M7 core?
Give you an example.
Please check it on your side.
If you can't find the ARM core, and your connection is correct, your debugger is working, then it means your RT board hardware have problems. You need to check the hardware.
Wish it helps you!
If you still have questions about it, please kindly let me know.
Have a great day,
Kerry

Hi,
Thanks for your response,
1.i had followed the same steps as mentioned above but unable to see the cortex-M7 on the command window
2.the message displayed on the command window"cannot connect the to target"
3. the same behavior is found on the evaluation board" IMXRT1050-EVKB"
4. connections for the evaluation board found in this link:
https://visualgdb.com/tutorials/arm/imxrt/
5.
This is the output while connected to evaluation board:
Output observed when jlink is connected to coustomized board:
if there are any tests i need to do please share across.
Thanks,
Maniram
Hi Maniram,
It seems you are using the external debugger through the J21, is it right?
If yes, you need to disconnect the on board debugger, please remove J33, then try it again.
Actually, the MIMXRT150-EVKB already have the on board debugger, it is CMSIS-DAP in default , if you want to use the external debugger, please remove the J33, then try to connect it again, it should work.
Any updated information from your side, please kindly let me know.
Have a great day,
Kerry

Hi,
yes the j-link debugger was able to connect to the evaluation board, after making the given above changes.
but unable to connect the custom board.
Thanks,
Maniram
Hi maniram nagothi,
Customer board can't find the core with JLINK?
Is it the new designed board? If yes, it should still related to the customer's hardware.
Please check the chip smallest system, the SWD interface connection.
Have a great day,
Kerry
