About LDO for SNVS

Dear an Engineer,

I'm wondering what LDO I should choose.

On the RT1020 EVMK circuits, there is UM1750S-00.
But UM1750S-00 is minor LDO, it is a little bit difficult to purchase in my country.

I have a question, dose "SNVS loard regulation" require the ability of max 350mA current?
I found other LDO and it was max 300mA current.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Edgard ,

Thank you for your interest in the NXP MIMXRT product, I would like to provide service for you.

In fact, the MIMXRT1020-EVK is using the DCDC in default, although the LDO is added, but not used, you can see, the resistor to the LDO is DNP:

So, if you use the DCDC like the EVK, LDO don't need to use:

If you need to use the LDO for the SNVS,  300mA current is also too much larger, as you know, our SNVS is uA current, you also can select more smaller LDO.

Wish it helps you!

Dear Kerry

thanks for your advice.
I could understand. I'll try to design the circuits without LDO.

Kindest Regards
Edgard
