Hello Community,

Is it possible to force the i.MX28 to boot with the USB recovery mode before it tries the SSP0?

I think something like

I.mx28 power on --> usb recovery mode --> any mfgtool for update there?  ...

(yes) --> update

(no) --> boot from SD(eMMC)

one possible solution I have found is to set at every boot a HW_RTC_PERSISTENT bit to boot at the next boot in usb recovery mode but is there any other way?

I am afraid there are no ways to force processor for such kind of boot flow.
