Hi all,
I'm using matchbox-keyboard, as virtual keyboard, in a HMI panel, based on i.MX53 architecture.
The distro (sato) is built using Yocto.
Normally the matchbox-keyboard (used as a daemon) works well, but when I try to write a password in a password field in a web page (ad example for a login), the matchbox-keyboard disappears.
This happens with both Chromium and Firefox.
If the browser works in "kiosk" mode, this is a big problem (in kiosk mode there is no status bar of the matchbox-desktop).
Any idea to solve this problem?
Thanks and best regards,
Flavio
Nobody in Freescale has this problem like me?
Are nobody using Yocto to build kiosk-application with a web browser?

Hi Flavio,
Did you resolve your issue on this? If so, what steps did you need to take?
I noticed in another post (yocto mailing list) you had issues with the auto pop up in yocto 1.6.1? I am using yocto 1.6.4 and can't get the pop up working... My application is using chromium in kiosk mode.
Any advice would be much appreciated!
David
