Hi anyone:
I got a problem with "ddr stress test" for 4G ddr in imx8mini, using mscale_ddr_tool _v3.20.
It end up show 2GB only ,and calibration fail:
But there is no problem with imx8mq with the same IC.
And the board(imx8mm) could boot up with board/freescale/imx8mm_evk/lpddr4_timing_4g.c
here are the log of imx8mm and imx8mq:
imx8mm:
imx8mq:
Any help is appreciate.

it's config issue, the "Density per channel per chip select (Gb)1:" is wrong.
Here is the correct one/
Hello,
I do not see issues on your RPA configuration.
For that error is recommended check the layout firstly.
Also you can lower the DDR speed to try.
Could you please try with DDR tool of Config Tools for i.MX?
Best regards.
Hi JorgeCas:
Thanks.
But could you share you RPA and stress test log ?
I'm fail at 4GB, but no problem with 2GB/3GB.
BTW, my ddr row=16 for 4GB, it's the same with 2GB/3GB.
It fail , no because the board is not stable, but the stress tool could not recognize it as 4GB, but 2GB instead .
And the layout is no problem. The board could bootup good .
And the board test stable with 2GB/3GB lpddr4.
Yes... I was referring to MT53E1G32D2FW-046 WT:C datasheet...
Hello,
I used the default .ds file provided with the tool for i.MX8MM EVK (mx8mm_micron_lpddr4_2gb_2d_1500m_200m_50m_32bit_1cs_RPAv18.ds).
Right now, I do not have access to the board until next Monday I will share it with you if you need it but, it passed the test with 2GB.
Is your board able to boot with 4GB and work as expected?
Did you try with Config Tools for i.MX?
Best regards.
Hi JorgeCas:
Yes , my board works with 4GB lpddr4_timing_4g.c. But I don't know it stable or not , event it not crash for hours. I do need to generate the lpddr4_timing_4g.c using my config.
If you test on board, it'better use 4GB one.
I have tested with "Config Tools for i.MX" version 15.1 . But the result is not acceptable , no matter how I config it , it will pass the test. For example , the following config(8GB) will pass the test too. And there is no "ODT" config for imx8mm imx8mp, but the document says it has.
