Hi All,
We are planning to build an iMX8X (Part Number: MiMX8DX2AVLFZAC) based hardware for an avionics application.
Because it is an avionics unit; we cannot use any OS (like Yocto/Linux) in the software. We have to write the entire software in bare-metal.
When we searched over internet, we are seeing that all the drivers developed by NXP or its partner companies are supporting only M4F cores.
Does anybody know availability of SDK which supports both A35 core and M4F cores? Or is that, we cannot use A35 core without OS installed?
Thanks & Regards,
Aravind
Hi Joan,
Thank for taking time to solve my problem. But, my question is,
1) Does NXP supports SDK for M35 core?
2) If NXP does not support SDK for M35 core, then we can attempt to build the Bare-metal SDK from our-own. But is it really possible?
Thanks & Regard,
Aravind
1) SDK isn't for A core
2) we don't offer such sdk, but should support this, maybe you can contact the third party company to get this
you can download the SDK package for imx8qxp from the link as below:
https://mcuxpresso.nxp.com/en/welcome
this SDK is for M4 core
