iMX535 Fuse Programming

Hi,

I wanted to know how fuse programming works on the iMX535 (using the "fuse" command in u-boot). Are my following assumptions correct:-

1. If fuse bit(s) are not blown the default value = 0 

2. fuse bit is only blown once you program a value of 1 (and the configuration/fuse retains this value permanently)

I was unable to find this exact information in the ref manual / datasheet.
