i.MX8 MP: how to set encoding profile for H.264 / H.265

From reading some posts, I got the impression that the default profile for H.264 encoding is the Baseline profile. I found a post (here) that shows how to change the profile from Baseline to Main, but it involves patching a kernel driver source file.

Is there a way to do it using vpu_wrapper.h, or maybe another header / library?

And the same question for H.265 encoding...
