Hello team,

I want to display the smartphone screen on the monitor of the HDMI output destination with miracast using the Linux environment running on i.MX8M Quad EVKB.

Looking at "https://community.nxp.com/t5/i-MX-Processors/WiFi-Display-Sink-Miracast-in-imx8QM/mp/1096870", it says that i.MX8QM does not support miracast. Does the i.MX8M Quad support miracast?

Is there any material such as the procedure to perform miracast and the command to use?

The environment I'm using :

Linux imx8mqevk 5.10.52-lts-5.10.y+ga11753a89ec6 #1 SMP PREEMPT Wed Sep 8 10:41:11 UTC 2021 aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux

Best regards,

Hi,

Do I absolutely need an optional Wi-Fi module like AW_CM358xxx to do miracast on i.MX8M Quad?

Is it possible to miracast in an environment where a Wi-Fi router is connected to the LAN port by wire even without a Wi-Fi module?

Best regards,
