Hi community,

I have some questions about i.MX6 Series lifetime.

I want to know what device can I use for 100% duty (power on 24 hours, 365 days) of lifetime.

I guess, user can use only industrial chip for the 100% duty usage, and cannot use consumer and automotive chip for the usage.

Is this correct?

If correct, would you let me know what will occur if I use consumer or automotive chip for 100% duty?

(e.g. lifetime will be shorter)

Best Regards,

Satoshi Shimoda

Hello,

The POH (power-on hours) is defined as total period, during which a device

can operate reliably, without faults. 100% duty is assumed in the recent i.MX6

app notes about i.MX6 lifetime.  The same estimations generally may be applied

for non-100% duty.

Regards,

Yuri.
