Hi,
My system uses i.MX6 SoloX and PF0100A PMIC. The system was running normally, but iMX6SX shuts down all off sudden.
When the power button was press (triggering IMX6 ONOFF input), it doesn't power off at all. No response was observed.
On openning up the system and probing some crtical signals, it was found that VDD_SOC_IN and VDD_ARM_IN were measured at 0.39V, and there is no 24MHz xtal oscillating at all but 1.2V flat level is observed.
Here are my questions:
- Is it possible for PMIC PF0100A to fail to supply VDD_SOC_IN and VDD_ARM_IN?
- When there is no 24MHz xtal oscillating, IMX6 ONOFF input trigger (High-to-Low transition input) won't reset IMX6 because there is no clock input? FYI, VDD_PLL_CAP and VDD_VSNVS are normal
