i.MX6 IPUv3 LCD display rotation

Hi,
We are working on custom board with i.MX6Q SoC, using Linux kernel version 4.1.15 and using round LCD display(PV13900ALS20C). We want to rotate our LCD screen by 180 degrees. We have tried using /sys/devices/soc0/fb@0/graphics/fb0/rotate interface for rotating the display but it did not work though getting debug prints as below

Please help us with a way to rotate LCD device by 180 degrees.
