I am now evaluating Windows 10 IoT W1.1.0, 6/2022 BSP release and successfully bring up the Windows 10 IoT GUI using 8MPLUSLPD4-EVK board.
When I connect USB UVC WebCam (Logitech C270n) to USB port, this camera silently recognized and appear in the Device Manager tree display.
But there appears no camera ready application exist in Windows 10 IoT Microsoft distribution. What camera application do you use for the development (in BSP camera team) ?

Below is my UWP application screen shot to take still picture, asking one application to handle camera data. This UWP app works fine on both x64 notebook and ARM64 notebook though...
Thanks for the replay.
I just noticed that some pre-installed Windows (store) apps that are included in regular desktop Windows 10, such as "Windows Camera" and "App Installer", are missing in the "LTSC" release.
I am also surprised that , when the "Windows Camera App" is installed, the "CameraCaptureUI" C# class works!.
We have not yet checked, but the GAC version of Windows 10 IoT comes with several store apps pre-installed and should work just like regular Windows 10.

From my further investigation, I checked preinstalled "Windows (store) app" in IMX8M Windows 10 IoT core, by using administrator account of PowerShell, explained below link.
I first tested in my Windows PC and found:
- Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller Microsoft.DesktopAppInstaller_2022.728.1939.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8...
- Microsoft.WindowsStore Microsoft.WindowsStore_22207.1401.1.0_neutral_~_8wekyb3d8bbwe
but there is no such apps included in IMX8M Windows result (below).
The only package "Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge.Stable" may be installed by Windows Update.

I believe some of the Windows (Store) app should be preinstalled in OOBE phase. But current BSP install script appears no apps to place, so that some of the user's UWP apps can't always duplicate the standard Desktop Windows experience.
Hello hiron,
The win10IOT is the initial engineering release for i.MX6, i.MX7 and i.MX8M platforms you might found a lot of troubleshooting on it. in any case you may want to know more about it, please send a request to Microsoft.
