Hello, I'm having some problems. When I used the IMX8MM chip, I extended two 3.0USB ports in the PCIE bus via a D720202 chip. But the two extended 3.0USB ports only ran at 2.0 speeds, and when I tested the pins with an oscilloscope, I found that the read/write data was running over a 2.0 circuit

Hi Toby,

i.MX8MM CPU supports USB2.0, don't support USB3.0.

so the result you measured is no problem.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Have a nice day!

Hi Toby,

>>But the question I want to ask is whether the CPU supports 3.0USB via PCIE extension

If your purpose is :  I.MX8MM PCIe --- > PCIe To USB3.0 bridge---->USB3.0 interface for application.

It should be no problem.

BUT if you find the bridge is working in USB 2.0 mode, you can contact the provider of the bridge to ask for help. Because on CPU side, we only give you some help on PCIe.

Have a nice day!
