TFT RGB LCD ESD issue with iMXRT1064

Hi 

My board contains iMXRT1064 controller and an RGB paralled interface to the LCD. Use Emwin library for GUI on the LCD.

The LCD fails ESD test. When board is shocked with +-15kv the LCD turns white and remains in that state. Without resetting the board if the LCD is removed from the LCD connector and inserted again then the ESD issue disappears and we are able to see the GUI.

What can be done at the iMXRT1064 LCD driver side to overcome this issue?

The LCD interface on our board used is exactly similar to EVK iMXRT1064 board.

Hi,

The appliation note is specifically for EMC issues and not ESD. I think these are different. 

I tried to disable and enable the Dot Clock mode in LCD registers. This method resets the LCD lines it seems as it is visible on the LCD but it did not resolve the LCD ESD issue.

How can I reset the LCD peripheral to overcome this issue?. Any visually effects caused is fine but currently only option is to resove this in software instead of hardware
