Hi,

I am new to NXP. I am using Evaluation Kit SABRE similar to SABRE|Automotive-Infotainment|i.MX6 | NXP Semiconductors which is having MCIMX6U6AVM08AB DualLite processor [800Mhz].
I have prepared the build for it using

DISTRO=fsl-imx-wayland MACHINE=imx6dlsabresd source imx-setup-release.sh -b ../build

Then I have written wic image using
sudo dd if=core-image-minimal-imx6dlsabresd.wic of=dev/sdb bs=4096 && sync

Then I tried to boot it. But it is not booting.

I have followed the same steps for other machine imx6qdlsabreauto in corresponding EV kit. It is booted fine. Could anyone can help me? Any jumper/boot switch issue in board or any bootloader mismatch issue/DDR failure?

Hi,

I have downloaded LF_v5.10.72-2.2.3_images_IMX6QPDLSOLOX BSP.

From there I have taken u-boot-imx6dlsabreauto_sd.imx and flashed it using
"sudo uuu -b sd u-boot-imx6dlsabreauto_sd.imx".

Now I can see the logs from console. Now it is booting fine.

U-Boot 2021.04-lf_v2021.04+g8b8a0e5567 (Sep 27 2022 - 02:05:23 +0000)

CPU: i.MX6DL rev1.1 at 792MHz

CPU: Automotive temperature grade (-40C to 125C) at 55C

Reset cause: POR

Model: i.MX6 DualLite/Solo SABRE Automotive Board

Board: MX6Q-Sabreauto revO

DRAM: 2 GiB

PMIC: PFUZE100! DEV_ID=0x10 REV_ID=0x11

MMC: FSL_SDHC: 0, FSL_SDHC: 2

Loading Environment from MMC... *** Warning - bad CRC, using default environment

No panel detected: default to Hannstar-XGA

Now, we have build system for imx-yocto-bsp. Tried to build for machine name "imx6dlsabreauto" which I modified in local.conf . But I faced error as invalid machine name when do bitbake. Kindly refer the attached image "invalid_machine". Then I looked for conf in source folders, I can't find conf file for imx6dlsabreauto . Kindly refer the attached image "CONF_files". Is that deprecated/removal of support for this machine from the current linux release?

Now can you please answer to the question "what is the machine name that should I used for build the image for EVK NXP board MCIMXABASEV1 which is having processor MCIMX6U6AVM08AB?"
Thanks for the understanding.

Are you using the NXP reference board or the third company board? If it is nxp board have you set the proper boot up mode for it?
