hi
is mandatory to use MMPF0200F6AEP for i.mx6sx designs.
This IC still not sold anywhere, and I want to start my design i.mx6sx.
Is there an alternative? I do not want to program MMPF0200.
Should I use discrete components for power?
exists some reference design with components available for i.mx6sx?
ty
Hi perales
it is not mandatory to use MMPF0200F6AEP,
however one needs to provide correct power-up sequence
to processor. In general one can use also discrete components for power,
however I am not aware of example schematcis for that.
Best regards
igor

hi igorpadykov ty for answer.
MMPF0200F6AEP all have the same sequence on by default, but the levels of voltages are different.
freescale says that all support i.mx6sx, for example MMPF0200F3:
but the levels are not the same:
can i change MMPF0200F6AEP 0 per MMPF0200F3? is posible? Ty for answer
only MMPF0200F6AEP supports SX, refer to table

Hi igor
This table says MMP0200F6 is used in the reference design. Others are not used. In the other reference designs MMP0100 is used.
Supported devices are on the table which I have set.
Then you can use for example MMP0200F3 or must be reprogrammed?
Hi perales
This table says MMP0200F6 should be used for any i.MX6SX
based designs.
You can program NP device also.
hi igor sorry but I think not
This tablet says MMPF0200F6 is only used in this design (reference desing for i.mx6Sx): SABRE Board Reference Design|Freescale
in other reference desing no use MMPF0200, in all use MMPF0100 so the table is empty
SABRE Reference Designs|Freescale
sorry for my bad english
Hi perales
if you are novice, it is highly recommended to use
MMPF0200F6 and i.MX6SX Sabre Board as starting
point for first design.
