Hi all
Let me confirm about the licensing of FreeRTOS for i.MX7D.
I plan to do some tests with FreeRTOS in MCIMX7SABRE and downloaded the FreeRTOS from following link.
I got following two files for licensing when I installed it.
LA_OPT_Base_License.htm
SW-Content-Register-FreeRTOS-BSP-1.0.1-i.MX7D.txt
Does the license of SW-Content-Register-FreeRTOS-BSP-1.0.1-i.MX7D.txt include the license of LA_OPT_Base_License.htm ?
For example,
Does the license of FreeRTOS BSP Peripheral Driver follow the license of LA_OPT_Base_License.htm ?

Q. Which license version should user check ?
A. Of course, the latest v17 license version should be checked.
Q. Can I treat it as a BSD-3-Clause?
A. Yes.
Best Regards,
Artur
SW-Content-Register-FreeRTOS-BSP-1.0.1-i.MX7D.txt is not the license, but the BSP package content description. All package content, described in SW-Content-Register-FreeRTOS-BSP-1.0.1-i.MX7D.txt, is covered by the licensing rules, described in LA_OPT_Base_License.htm .
Have a great day,
Artur

Hi Artur
I have another question. could you tell the following question ?
Q1.
Which license version should user check ?
In the license "LA_OPT_BASE_LICENSE v17 December 2016" displayed on the download screen, there is a FreeRTOS indication on APPENDIX A.
However, there is no entry in the file "LA_OPT_BASE_LICENSE v17 December 2016" that can be created in the installed folder.
We compared the license and found there are description for FreeRTOS in "LA_OPT_BASE_LICENSE v17 December 2016" displayed on the download screen.
Which license version should user check ?
Q2.
In APPENDIX A of [LA_OPT_BASE_LICENSE v 17 December 2016, there is no mention of CMSIS DSP Library, CMSIS Core header files, FreeRTOS BSP Peripheral Driver and OpenAMP.
it is not listed in the APPENDIX A list but any license is described in the BSD-3-Clause.
Can I treat it as a BSD-3-Clause? "
