Is it possible to play 1080i@25fps on i.MX6Q?

Hi!

Does anyone find the way how to play smoothly 1080i@25fps on i.MX6 in Android? I need to do HW decoding of video track + blend sw decoded DVB subtitles and be able to synchronize final frames together with audio.

I've tested also VLC, Kodi and some other players with video hw acceleration and none of them plays smoothly 1080i.

But according to i.MX6 spec. it should be able to play 1080i25 without problem. I've also tested VPU clock 352 and 266MHz which didn't give any difference. Really strange....

Does anyone has similar or better experience?

yes it is possible, however Extended Multimedia Package

should be installed as shown in attached Release Notes

sect.6.1 Extended multimedia feature package.

Codecs specs are given in Table 5. Video decoder for i.MX 6Quad/Dual/DualLite

I'm really sorry but I can't see any attachments at your message nor red below the message.IMXANDROID.... Download tab but I can't find any  Extended Multimedia Package :-(. Do I need some extra permission? Thx
