Our sensor has to send 1920 x (2 rows front metadata + 1536 + 4 rows end metadata).
From previous post, I am aware IMX8MP cannot handle metadata.
Sensor can configure metadata data type, which I can make it the same as the image type.
1. From reading the ISP porting guide, it seems embedded data can be "crop" out. But there is a restriction on the input sensor size; it needs height to be 8 align. Is this true?
2. Should I set image size in the ISP XML file and DEWARP to include metadata or just the active image resolution ?
1920 x 1542 (including metadata)
1920 x 1536 (active image)
