I.MX8 Mini gpio pins output type?

Hello,

1) When the GPIO pins are configured as output pins, what is the output type? Can we choose between push pull and open drain? I couldn't find this information in the datasheet.

2) I have to use a level shifter for the GPIO pins. Would you see an issue with using: http://www.ti.com/product/TXS0108E?dcmp=dsproject&hqs=pf?

  IMX8Mm output pins can be configured as CMOS or as open drain, using corresponding

Pad Control Register.  

2.

  Customers can use the mentioned shifter.
