Hi all,
I want to build the uboot for MFGTool upgrade.
This uboot for first boot up device, not for writing to eMMC.
example :
<LIST name="eMMC-Android" desc="Choose eMMC as media">
<CMD state="BootStrap" type="boot" body="BootStrap" file ="firmware/u-boot-imx6q%plus%%board%_sd.imx" ifdev="MX6Q">Loading U-boot</CMD> <--- I want to build this uboot.
I reference the "Manufacturing Tool V2 Linux or Android Firmware Development Guide V2.docx" on MFGTool package.
(android_m6.0.1_2.1.0_tool.tar.gz)
Base on this document, I can't find the mx6q_sabresd_mfg.h on the last version.
So, I think this document was an older version, it only builds the "uboot.bin" not "uboot.imx".
Anyone can help me?
Thanks!!!
BR.
Alleen
Hi Aleen
it may be useful to check sect.6.2 Manufacturing Tool, MFGTool
attached Yocto Guide.

Hi Allen Wang,
You can use target board uboot on MFG tool also. There is not difference on uboot. Kernel only have difference for MFGTool
