How to add NAND support on IMX6Q-SDP?

Hi all,

As we know IMX6Q-SDP doesn't support booting from NAND. Now we are designing our own board and want to replace eMMC with NAND which has a 8GB space. MT29F64G08AFAAAWP-IT and MT29F64G08CBAAAWP-IT are for choise.

My problem is,how can I enable NAND in our own imx6Q system? Is the NAND chip supported under u-boot and linux? Can I use Mfgtools to downloading Images to nand and boot from it?

Is there some other chips for choise?

Best Regards

Xiaoqiang

Take a look at mx6qsabreauto board in U-boot and in the kernel, as this board has NAND populated.
