I'm trying to get multiple serial bluetooth connections working on Android 4.3 on a Nitrogen6x. I have a working Android app but I seem to be capped at 5 connections. Is this a limitation of Android or am I missing something?
I'm not that familiar with the nitrogen6x, but I saw that it uses the TiWi-BLE chip. Bluetooth connection limits is dependant on hardware rather than software. According to the TiWi-BLE engineer, it supports up to 7 connections (someone said 6).
I would recommend that you check the bluetooth driver, it may need an upgrade to the latest driver.
Best regards,
Sergio
