Hi!
We have been working with the IMX6 Sabre SDB development board and we are trying to make the dual mode work with both the HDMI and the dual LVDS channel.
This is our setup:
- Dual LVDS channel connected on both LVDS (using ldb=spl0) with 1920x1080 resolution
- HDMI connected on the HDMI with 1920x1080 resolution
With this setup, we are able to display 2 full HD resolutions (1920x1080) images side by side.
Our goal is to have both displays show the same content without having to run same application on both displays.
Is it possible to have an LVDS dual channel and an HDMI display the same thing ?
Thank you!
Hi Charles
in theory this is possible, however BSPs do not support this feature.
In particular since lvds and hdmi use different formats (RGB666 and RGB24)
source code modifications are needed.
Best regards
igor
