I have a 7-inch monitor with HDMI input and I am having difficulty configuring the board. Actually the board does not have HDMI interface but on the Freescale website I found a HDMI Port Card that plugs into the LCD expansion port of the board. The HDMI card has a Silicon Image sii9022 chip:  "MCIMXHDMICARD"

I already tried setting the enviroment variables in uboot. Below is some of what I tried:

setenv bootargs 'video=mxcfb0:dev=hdmi, 1920x1080M@60, if=RGB24'

setenv bootargs 'video=mxcfb0:dev=sii902x, if=RGB565'

Thanks,

javier

Hi Javier,

Could you please specify which specific troubles are you getting? Are you able to see something or nothing on the HDMI monitor or you have other kind of troubles like resolution issues?

Have you checked the following thread (which is for i.MX53):

Hope this information will be useful for you.

Best regards!

/Carlos
