Hi Experts,
Consider I am configuring the Ethernet connectivity manually to connect with the static connection.
"I am not using the dhcp connection".
How to configure the NET stack ?
I am using the following steps.
1. ifconfig eth0 inet <ip_addr> netmask <broadcast>
2. route add default gw
My expectation is if I configure the above things then the IP data started flowing.

suggest to look at attached Release Notes Table 5-1. Kernel Boot Parameters,
Linux BSP UserGuide sect.8.1 Run the image from NFS and use
L2.6.35_11_09_ER_SOURCE : Linux 2.6.35 Source Code Files

Hi Igor,
Thanks for the reply.
I am not looking for the NFS or boot configurations rather than that I am
looking for static configuration to open the IP data exchange when it is
connected with the Server or PC which doesn't supports ARP/DHCP.

Lyf

Lyf,
Were you ever able to get this going?
What did you learn?
I'm trying to update our Mx51 BBG Android 2.3 to support static IP instead of just DHCP!
Any insight, pointers, links, etc. would be most welcome!
thanks,
Mike
Hi lyd sci,
Which processor are you using and on which platform?
Have a great day
Dan
