Capability confirmtion for IMX-LVDS-HDMI

Hi i.MX8 EVM Experts, 

Now I'm trying to prepara reference debug environmnt of i.MX8 LCD output (LVDS). 

My developping provide will use LCD panel of 1280x480 size, connect via LVDS . 

And to check the SW behavior, now I'm consider to use i.MX8 EVM plus IMX-LVDS-HDMI board, and connect it to ordinally 1920x1080 PC monitor. 

1. does IMX-LVDS-HDMI can convert  LVDS 1280 x 480 (or any other fllexible) resolutin output to HDMI ? 

2. and if above 1. is yes, how the image will be appeared on Monitor ? i.e. will it diaplayed at adjested at left top corner, and remained area as blank ? or any resizing will be done to fit the PC monitor ersolution ?

=> For the information related to supported resolution, kindly refer to section 2.10 LVDS connectors (J15, J16) from the i.MX 8M Plus LPDDR4 EVK Board Hardware User's Guide

=>It is suggested to set the resolution according to the datasheet of the display. otherwise, the display may misbehave or the flickering issue may occur.

i.e

u-boot=> setenv mmcargs 'setenv bootargs console=${console} root=${mmcroot} video=HDMI-A-1:1920x1080-32@60'
u-boot=> boot
