Hi All,

I'm evaluating the i.MX6Quad for a new project and haven't found anything in the reference manual about support for passive color LCD panels or temporal dithering.

Is it possible ?

Luke.

I think passive or active LCD panel is covered by LCD module itself not MX6Q LCD controller. Because the difference between them is how the pixel light is energized.

You should list your LCD interface and protocol ,then other guys can help you to check if MX6Q can drive your LCM.

The LCD panel is a Sharp LM8M64 Half VGA 3 bits per pixel, it has a 8 bit interface used to transfer 640x3bits =  240 bytes per line.

I checked your LCD DS and don't recommend you use MX6Q to drive the pseudo LCM.
