QN908x ADC & DAC Characteristics

Please can you let me know the following characteristics of the ADC and DAC of the QN908x, as I can't seem to find them in the datasheet:

  1. ADC worst case ENOB when using full rate 31.25 kSps (14-bit is stated, but from the oversampling ENOB figures in section 14.2, it seems that must be typical)
  2. ADC input voltage range absolute limits when operating in differential mode (I could only see differential limits, not absolute)
  3. DAC output impedance and maximum output current

Hello Andy,

Answering your questions:

1.- Theoretical calculations show that an ENOB of 14-bits is expected with a data rate of 31.25 ksps. Nevertheless, this is not tested in production so we cannot guarantee it.

2.- It is rail-to-rail. From zero to VCC.

 

3.- The maximum output current is 1mA and output impedance depends on VCC and is given by the formula Zo = VCC/Imax.
