I have a QN9080 chip customized board.
I want to debug this chip board using JTAG interface on QN908x Development board.
Is there any document explaining the steps required for this or the setup?
I have tried the following but it is not working, can someone point out what I am doing wrong?
The setup is as follows:
1. Short Jumper JP1 on NXP QN908x Development board.
2. Take JTAG 10-pin connector and connect it to the custom board as follows:
- Connect Vcc , GND, SWDIO, SWDCLK, SWO and Reset pin.
- I have kept ISP_Detect, IF_Detect and JTAG_TDI pins open as it is not connected to the QN908x chip.
Is this setup correct or I missed something?
Attached is the 10-pin Debugger connector pinout.
Can someone please help me with this, its Urgent.

Dear Ankur,
If you check in the DK User’s Guide the chapter "3.1.2 CMSIS-DAP to off-board target" you can check the jumper configuration to degub you custom board .
I hope this helps you.

Dear Ankur,
The QN908x doesn’t support the JTAG protocol for debugging, only SWD.

Thanks Alexis for the response.
So, I was using JTAG 10-pin Connector which also has SWD lines.
So, here what exactly I am trying to do is, I want to Debug my Customized QN908x board.
It has SWD as well as JTAG pin exposed.
While going through the "QN908x-DK-User Guide", I have read that "P1" can be used to debug the external QN908x chip.
I want to know what exact setup needed to debug the chip.
I have tried this using two QN908x Development board V1.2 and I am able to Debug using "P1" Connector. But, the same thing I want to do on our QN908x Customized Dev Board.

Thanks a lot Alexis,
It is working now. I was powering up the Board using Development board.
Changing jumper setting on JP2 makes it work.
