What mean by the Attributes and profiles in BLE ?
Can KW40 communicate to any sensor having bluetooth or it needs special attributes and profiles with sensor ?
Can we send the temperature sensor data from sensor to KW40 by connecting ANY bluetooth device to temperature sensor ?

An attribute is an entity described by type, handle and permissions. Attributes comprise the GATT database. Profiles define specific application behavior. For further in-depth details, I recommend ATTRIBUTE PROTOCOL chapter and BLUETOOTH PROFILES sub-chapter from the Core specification (Adopted Specifications | Bluetooth Technology Website )
The Temperature sensor and collector implement a custom profile and service. In consequence, temperature data can be retrieved ONLY by a Bluetooth device that implements the same custom profile and a client for the custom service.
