I have absolute pressure sensors MPX4250AP. The data sheet says that a pressure medium other than dry air may adversely affect the sensor. My colleague has used this senor to measure the absolute pressure of water flowing in a micro heat exchanger and he did not face any problem in sensor functionality. However please advise on how trustworthy are the measurements in this case? I also plan to use the sensor to measure the absolute pressure of water at one location in a micro channel. Please advise if this use is allowable for this sensor from the point of view of accuracy of measurements.
