Most part of my circuit is using 3.0V power suply. If there is an "3.0V MMA9555L", I will save some cost of the level switch ICs. So is there an instead?

Hi,

Unfortunately there is no intelligent sensors (with mcu embedded on the same package) for a supply voltage of 3.0V in our current portfolio, however, there are some other standalone accelerometers in our portfolio that can be useful for your application that can handle a supply voltage of 3.0V, I’m listed some of these accelerometers below:

  1. MMA8451:

* 3-axis Accelerometer, Digital Output Accelerometer (I2C)

* Sensitivity: up to 4096 counts/g

* Measurement range: Selectable between +/-2, +/-4 or +/-8g

* Resolution: Selectable between 8-bit or 14-bit digital output

* Output Data Rate: from 1.56Hz to 800Hz

* Current Consumption: 6 μA to 165 μA

* Datasheet: www.nxp.com/files/sensors/doc/data_sheet/MMA8451Q.pdf

  1. FXLS8471:

* 3-axis Accelerometer, Digital Output Accelerometer (I2C/SPI)

* Sensitivity: up to 4096 LSB/g

* Measurement range: Selectable between +/-2, +/-4 or +/-8g

* Resolution: Selectable between 8-bit or 14-bit digital output

* Output Data Rate: from 1.56Hz to 800Hz

* Current Consumption: 8 μA to 240 μA

* Datasheet: www.nxp.com/files/sensors/doc/data_sheet/FXLS8471Q.pdf

  1. MMA8652:

* 3-axis Accelerometer, Digital Output Accelerometer (I2C)

* Sensitivity: up to 1024 LSB/g

* Measurement range: Selectable between +/-2, +/-4 or +/-8g

* Resolution: 12-bit digital output

* Output Data Rate: from 1.56Hz to 800Hz

* Current Consumption: 6.5 μA to 184 μA

* Datasheet: www.nxp.com/files/sensors/doc/data_sheet/MMA8652FC.pdf

  1. MMA8491:

* 3-axis Accelerometer, Digital Output Accelerometer (I2C)

* 3-axis, 45° tilt output pins (can be configured to be in low power all the time and just send an interrupt when detect a tilt inclination bigger than 45°).

* Sensitivity: up to 1024 LSB/g

* Measurement range: +/- 8g

* Resolution: 14-bit digital output

* Output Data Rate: implementation based from < 1 Hz to 800 Hz

* Current Consumption: Extreme low power, 400 nA per Hz

* Datasheet: www.nxp.com/files/sensors/doc/data_sheet/MMA8491Q.pdf

Have a great day,
Jose
