FRDM-REMOTE-LF details

Hi,

There is a new App note: AN5149-Field software updates using TPMS LF. Need the details of FRDM-REMOTE-LF board mentioned therein.

Also with MC33690 na PFC7991 being EOL what are the 125KHz transmitter solutions from NXP?

Hi,

in the schematic C4 and R4 have two different values. C3 with 3,3 nF or 10 nF and R4 with 10 ohm or 2,5 ohm (x4 parallel).

R4 I would interprete to use 4 times 10R in parallel to get 2,5 ohm. But C3 looks like different assembly options.

Is there a manual to tune the values, if I use a different antenna?

Hi Rajiv,

Attached is the schematics of the FRDM-REMOTE-LF board.

We are generating the 125kHz signal using the timer of the MKW01 microcontroller and then the signal coming out of the microcontroller is amplified thanks to an LF antenna (we are using KGEA-SMD-B-0162J LF antenna from Premo).

So in this example we are not using a ready-solution from NXP. I am not aware of the latest 125kHz transmitter solutions we have.
