The information in the SafeAssure NDA group has two problems:
1. The total FIT values calculated in Figure 1 and Figure 2 are inconsistent and have been marked with red circles. Among them, Figure 1 is from the document "S32K142_FIT_Rate_Calculation.pdf (P10)", and Figure 2 is from the document "FMEDA_S32K142_SUMMARY.xlsx" (FMEDA Summary Permanents)

2. In Figure 3, the DCspf calculated based on the provided data is inconsistent with that in the table, as shown in the Figure 3. Figure 3 comes from the document "FMEDA_S32K142_SUMMARY.xlsx" (FMEDA Summary)

Please confirm, thank you

  1. The FIT rate given in the S32K142_FIT_Rate_Calculations.pdf is the failure rate of all the pins present in the specific Package i.e. 94.1/50.9/31.0 for LQFP100/64/48. The Failure rate in the FMEDA summary sheet is including only safety related items and pins. Therefore there is a mismatch between these numbers.
  2. This MCU is target to compliance with ASIL-B. Hence the DCspf is limited to 96.90%.t is just to make sure that the MCU should not be used for ASIL-C integrity level.
