Dear All,

I am attempting to reconcile the differences in the pull-up/down configuration between the hardware design guide and the EVK.

In the Hardware Design Guide p5-6, pull-ups/downs are "required" as follows:

However, the S32K144EVB schematics contains a pull-up only on TMS, and can be isolated from the OpenSDA processor via jumpers.

How does one reconcile the design of the EVK with the recommendations in the HW design guide?

Kind regards,

Damien.

Hello Damien,

Yes, the S32K144 EVB doesn't follow the recommendation.

However, the newer S32K1xx EVBs use use pull resistors already.

For example,

S32K148 EVB:

S32K146 EVB:

Daniel
