Balancing blocks MC3371C

Hi everyone!

I have a doubt or problem of balancing.

I am seeing the datasheet of BMS and I can check that the current for the passive balancing process is 300 mA. I have the resistors set in the evaluation PCB correctly but only I obtained 200 mA of current maxim.

Could you tell me if it could reach 300 mA somehow? Would the CHIP actually support 300 mA?

I am currently balancing in order, i.e. if cells 1, 5, and 7 are unbalanced, it starts balancing in order (1 to 7) regardless of the voltage level of each cell. But what would be the correct priority based on voltage?

To improve the balancing sequence, it is being taken into account that contiguous cells should not be balanced.

Thank you very much!

You can refer to below for this CB function--VCELL/(RBAL + RBAL_C + 0.5 Ω)
calculates the maximum cell balancing current, which is up to 300 mA:
